Chipped Beef Gravy
Ingredients:
3 T butter or margarine 3 T flour 3 c milk 1 jar (2.25 oz.) chipped beef (I prefer Armour)
Instructions:
Melt butter in skillet at medium heat. Add flour and stir until bubbly. Break up chipped beef and add to skillet. Gradually add milk. Stir frequently until thicken, about 10-15 minutes. I grew up on this. Some like it on toast others prefer it on plain bread. Do not add salt as beef is quite salty. I always like black pepper added.
